Ischel is superb destination for intermediate and advanced skiers; its huge ski area and varied pistes offer a challenge for all standards. The pistes are extremely well groomed by the pisteurs using latest technology snow canons if required. A very modern lift infrastructure ensures easy access to pistes that are well connected and clearly marked.

The area is a Mecca for off piste skiing and experienced guides are widely available. Ski schools are highly professional; the Arlberg Ski School, established in 1921, is reputed to be the oldest in Europe.
